Small Animal Round Robin Leads To Big Victory Smiles

In the Small Animal Round Robin on Friday, Angel Qualset was deemed the overall champion and most knowledgeable on small animal species.

The four Senior Showmanship champions of the Dog, Cat, Rabbit and Poultry Shows competed in the round robin to find out who had the best overall expertise on these small animals at the Antelope County Fair.

The round robin started at 4 p.m. with four judging stations set up with a superintendent from each species were set.

Trevin Hanson, Senior Showmanship champ of dogs, Angel Qualset, champ of cats, Kody Qualset, champ of rabbits, and Allison Stineman, champ of poultry, rotated from table to table for two minutes at a time. They each answered questions about the three animals they hadn't previously shown. 

Angel Qualset will have her name proudly displayed on the board for years to come. She also will receive an embroidered jacket to represent her accomplishment.
