2021 Social Media - Halloween Voting
To engage our readers, we held a Halloween costume contest with readers voting for their favorite costumes in three age categories. We advertised the contest both online and in print. We had the trophies on display when we took photos of everyone, so all of the youth and parents were constantly asking about voting, which led to even more interest in our social media account. We also had an advertiser supporting the contest, which helped monetize it.
