Photo Gallery: Chamber Sponsors Christmas Kickoff Event

Santa came to town on Sunday as the holiday season officially kicked off in Neligh.

Hundreds turned out for the annual event sponsored by the Neligh Chamber of Commerce.

The kickoff began with the lighted parade down Main Street, then carried over to the lighting of the courthouse. 

Participants then went to the American Legion for a visit from Santa Claus, a free hotdog feed courtesy of Carhart Lumber Company, games from the Neligh-Oakdale FBLA and the Chamber Cash Both, where more than $500 was inside for the taking.
