Arlo L. Hoefer Born in Elgin Ne Jan 7, 1936 - to Julius & Olga (Mock) Hoefer, died November 2, 2017 in Omaha with his 3 daughters by his side. He married Hazel Jacob November 17 1957, the couple later divorced . He serve in the US Army and spent 2 years in Korea. In early years he farmed northwest of Elgin, then later moved to Omaha and was a truck driver until he retired. Preceded in death by sons, Michael and Donald; granddaughter, Trina, a sister Berniece Lichty, brothers Paul and wife Rose, Bob, and Stanley in infancy. Survived by daughters: Cindy Benis (Lou), Debra Anderson, and Tamara Hoefer; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; Sister Lois (Donald) Reinke of Neligh, Janice Waljer of Lincoln, sister in law Georganne Hoefer of Neligh, other relatives and many friends. Arlos' hobbies included coming back to Antelope County every fall to hunt turkey, pheasant, and deer. The family will receive friends Sunday, Nov. 5th from 2pm to 4pm at the West Center Chapel, 7805 W. Center Rd. SERVICES Monday, Nov. 6th at 1pm at the West Center Chapel.
