Dial-A-Ride Public Transit has activities planned each day this week to celebrate Nebraska's 5th Annual Public Transit Week, April 7-13.
Proclaimed by Governor Pete Ricketts, Public Transit Week is a chance to get out and experience the benefits of public transportation in your community. It's also an opportunity to show support for a public service that individuals and families across the state rely on each and every day. Below is the list of activities planned: Monday, April 8: Passenger Appreciation Day (We thank our passengers for their patronage) Tuesday, April 9: Backpack Day (Pre-school to 2nd grade students coloring book activity) Wednesday, April 10: Stuff the Bus (Bring 1 item for the Antelope County Food Pantry and ride for FREE!
