The Antelope County Sheriff's office responded to the scene of a semi and pickup accident just after 2 p.m. Tuesday afternoon.
The accident involved Mark Miller and his sister Melanie Miller. The accident occurred six miles north and one mile west of Neligh at the intersection of 855 Rd. and 523 Ave.
Mark was west bound and entered the intersection driving a 2000 Kenworth tractor trailer. Melanie was northbound in a 2003 Chevy Silverado, owned by her father Leonard Miller.
Melanie attempted to stop for a yield sign and slid through the intersection and struck the trailer.
There was extensive damage to the semi trailer, and the pickup was a total loss. There were no injuries reported. Road conditions were found to be the cause of the accident.
