Contestants galloped, tossed, milked, hung, roped and flipped their way to the finish line in the Ag Olympics held during the Antelope County Fair on Tuesday night.
A large group of spectators and contestants attended the inaugural event at the horse arena. Twenty-six teams, ranging from age 4 to adults, entered the Ag Olympics.
Participants competed in six "Olympic" events: pole bending (gallop with stick horses around cones); cow milking (milk a simulated cow); cattle roping (throw a rope around a calf dummy); bale stacking (move bags of wood chips from one area to another); clothes hanging (hang clothes on a wire); and tire flipping (work together to flip a tire across the finish line).
