Up To 12 Inches Of Snow Possible In Holt & Antelope Counties

Antelope and Holt counties are bracing themselves for up to 12 inches of snow from the approaching storm.

The National Weather Service forecasters said light snow will begin Tuesday morning, gradually increasing in intensity all day Tuesday before tapering off Wednesday morning.

Western Antelope and Holt County are expected to receive 8 to 12 inches of snow, with the heaviest snowfall happening between noon and six p.m. Winds of 15 to 30 miles per hour.

Further south, in counties like Boone, Burt, Butler, Madison, Colfax, Platte and Stanton Counties, snowfall won’t be as heavy, with anywhere from 4 to 8 inches expected, but still with heavy winds and possibly mixed with sleet.
