Strong Wind Leads To Power Outages, Debris, Branches Down

Christmas night hasn't been peaceful in Antelope County thanks to high winds, including gusts at 50 mph.

Several residents in Neligh have reported power outages while tree branches are scattered in yards and on streets. Downtown Neligh had a street sign laying in the middle of 3rd Street near ESU 8 while a bench was blown into the middle of Main Street.

Branches knocked over some of the Neligh Chamber of Commerce light displays at the courthouse as well.
