Storm Expected To Bring Snow Saturday, Wind Gusts Of 30 MPH

A strong winter system is moving across the plains with light to moderate snow likely across Nebraska on Saturday.

According to the National Weather Service, snow or a mix of rain and snow is expected to spread across the area by Saturday night. Precipitation is expected to begin as rain around 3 p.m. and change to snow around 10 p.m. 

Wind gusts are expected to pick up over night and create dangerous conditions with 30 mph wind gusts out of the north. Snowfall should end around 6 a.m. on Sunday. Winds will blow around 20 mph with the temperatures hovering around 15 to 20 degrees.
