Severe Warning Extended, Wind Gusts Dropped to 60 MPH

With the storm slowing down in speed, the National Weather Service has extended the severe thunderstorm warning now until 11:15 p.m.

Expected wind gusts have also dropped to 60 mph. Nickel-sized hail is still possible with the storm, which is moving east at 35 mph. The storm is located along a line extended from 7 miles southeast of Plainview to 7 miles south of Clearwater.

Locations impacted include Neligh, Elgin, Clearwater, Oakdale, Meadow Grove, Tilden and Willow Creek State Recreation Area.
