Road Conditions Wet But Not Icy On Christmas Day

Road conditions are wet but not slick throughout Antelope County. On the Antelope-Madison County line in Tilden, temperatures were at 38 degrees at noon.

If you were dreaming of a white Christmas in Northeast Nebraska, that doesn’t look likely even tonight as temperatures will stay above freezing until well after the rain stops.

Road conditions throughout Northeast Nebraska are wet but not slick with temperatures in the high 30s around the noon hour and expected to reach nearly 50 degrees by late afternoon.

According to the National Weather Service, rain should continue falling until about 5 p.m. when the clouds are expected to clear. Winds will continue to gust up to 45 mph out of the south-southeast. Temperatures will begin falling around 4 p.m. and not dip below freezing until about 1 a.m. Monday, well after precipitation ends.
