More Than 3 Inches Of Rain Falls Across County This Week

More rain has fallen this week in Northeast Nebraska than the area averages all month.

According to the National Weather Service, the Antelope County area averages 2.65 inches of rain during April. However, significantly more has fall this year, mostly due to the rain this week.

From Tuesday-Saturday evening, more than 3 inches of rain has been reported in Antelope County. 

The record rainfall during April was in 1984 when more than 9 inches of rain fell. 

Rain is expected to continue Sunday morning. The chance of rain Sunday afternoon is just 15 percent. The weather next week should be sunny and in the 70s with no chance of rain Saturday, when there is just a 20 percent chance. ​
