Wind gusts of up to 65 mph may lead to property damage and dangerous conditions on Monday.
Eastern Nebraska is in a high wind warning until noon on Monday and will be downgraded to a wind advisory from noon until 6 p.m. when gusts drop back to around 50 mph. Wind will blow from the northwest.
The National Weather Service has issued the alert an said damaging winds will blow own trees and power lines. Widespread power outages are expected. Travel will be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles.
