Tilden City Pool Opened For The Summer On Wednesday

The Tilden pool opened Wednesday for the summer.

The pool will be open Monday through Sunday from 1 p.m. until 5 p.m. It will also be open from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday.

Cost of admission varies by age. Ages three and under are free. Children ages 4-12 are $2. Anyone 13 and older is $3. Season passes are available for $42.80, with family passes available for $107.

Two sessions of swimming lessons will be held, one session in June and the other in July. Each session will consist of five half hour sessions. Prices for lessons vary by level. Levels one and two are $30. Levels three and four are $35. Levels five through seven are $40. Private lessons are available as well, and the cost is an extra $10 compared to public lessons.

Theresa Staub is the manager for 2016 and will have three assistants. The assistant managers are Michaela Grubb, Jeremiah Grubb, and Jacob Wiese.

The lifeguards for the summer are: Samantha Welch, Courtney Rich, Katie Bossard, Brayden Effle, Rachal Hahne, Emily Stuckwisch, Brock Schaecker, Cade Wilkenson, Calli Wilkenson, and Danielle Warnke.
