Lady Falcons Top Cyclones In Five Set Thriller In Subdistricts

It was a close match up of the greens Monday night in Creighton as The Lady Falcons took on Clearwater-Orchard for the first game of subdistricts. 

After dropping the first set, the Falcons came back to win the next two. Fans were on the edge of their seat as the game stretched to be a five set thriller. 

The Falcons took the game in the final set with a 3-2 victory over the Cyclones.

Leading the Falcons for kills was freshman Hannah Ollendick with 22 of the team's 55. The team served up 6 aces and picked up an impressive 110 digs on the night. 

The 19-8 team will be back in action tonight in Creighton as they take on North Central at 7 p.m.
