Lady Falcons Post Second Win At Home Tuesday Night

Elkhorn Valley swept Plainview in straight sets on the home court Tuesday, 25-13, 25-19 and 25-19.  

Coach Emily Vaughn said the Lady Falcons had a "more consistent serving night, and rallied behind their servers to keep the momentum."  

"Having a really strong first set really helped us to play calm and confident," Vaughn said. "Even in the final set, when Plainview came out with the lead, the Lady Falcons responded with some big plays of their own when they needed them."

Elkhorn Valley is off the rest of this week, but will host Atkinson West Holt on Tuesday, Sept. 30. 

"We want to continue to compete at a higher level each game out, and to do that we know we need to continue to work and push each other in practice," she said.
