Lady Falcons Plan 'Pink Out' At Home VB Game Tonight

The Lady Falcons are planning a Pink Out during their home matches against Osmond on Tuesday, Oct. 6.

EV Coach Emily Vaughn said this the team's second "Pink Out" Breast Cancer Awareness volleyball match with Osmond. 

Funds raised for The Hope Fund will be presented to Faith Regional prior to the first match (approximately 5:15 p.m.) The Hope Fund was established by a local cancer survivor to provide on-going funding for items and services that support cancer recovery and survivorship and 100 percent of the donations directly benefit patients with cancer. 

"We ask that the crowd support the cause by wearing pink for this event," Vaughn said.
 
The Elkhorn Logan Valley Public Health Department will be present at the game to share resources with the fans.  

The coach said the theme this year is "Overcoming Weakness with Strength, Doubt with Belief, Fear with Courage.  We Will Make a Difference."
