Falcons Third: Martinez, Rutjens, Petersen All Runner-Up

Elkhorn Valley finished third as a team on Saturday as three Falcons placed runner-up in their weight divisions to give the team five medals.

Alejandro Martinez, Noah Rutjens and Chris Petersen all came home with silver medals to lead the Falcons in the championship round. Dillon Stewart finished third while Darren Stewart was fourth earlier Saturday afternoon. 

The Falcons entered the day in second place as a team, but Burwell climbed ahead of Elkhorn Valley by just three and a half points to claim runner-up honors as a team.
