Falcon Wrestlers Start Year With Win At High Plains Duals

The season couldn't have started much better for the Elkhorn Valley wrestling squad. 

The Falcons traveled to the High Plains Community Quadrangular to start the year and returned home with first place in the team standings.

They started off the day with a win over Meridian, 66-6. They then took on Clarkson/Leigh and won in dominating fashion, 74-0. In their final dual of the day, the Falcons took down the host school in a tight showdown, winning 40-33. 

The team now takes time to rest before hitting the mat again Saturday when they travel to the Creighton invite.
