Falcon Volleyball Team 2-1 At Scribner-Snyder Tournament

The Falcons volleyball team moved to 7-4 on the season thanks to a 2-1 weekend on the road.

"This is the first year we have played in the tourney, and I was really happy with our performance the first five sets of the day. But we just didn't have much fight left once we lost the first set against Bancroft-Rosalie," said coach Emily Vaughn. "So that was a frustrating way to end the day, after we had played so well leading up to it.  We look forward to some tough competition this week as we face West Holt, EPPJ and CWC."

At the Scribner-Snyder tournament on Saturday, Elkhorn Valley defeated Winnebago 25-8, 25-17. Shelby Cakebread was 19-19 serving with 5 ace serves. 

Against Scribner-Snyder, the Falcons won 25-23, 25-16. Ranae Keehn had seven kills. Alyssa Rood and Liz Osborn each had four kills.​

The Falcons dropped a 2-0 decision against Bancroft-Rosalie, losing 24-22, 25-10. 

Elkhorn Valley will travel to Atkinson on Tuesday to take on 5-8 West Holt.
