Falcon Relay Team Earns Medal At State Track Meet

The Elkhorn Valley 4x100 relay team collected some hardware at the state meet Saturday to wrap up the season. 

The Falcons finished eighth in 45.89 seconds. Team members were Tyler Rautenberg, Brayden Effle, Noah Rutjens and Christopher Petersen.

In other events on Saturday, Rutjens placed 12th in the long jump with a leap of 19-05.75. In pole vault, Joshua McFarland placed 19th at 10-6. Tyler Miller also competed but did not make opening height.

Ranee Keehn wrapped up the day for the Falcons with a second-place finish in the triple jump. She leaped 25-5.
