Falcon Basketball Teams Split Games Over Weekend

The Elkhorn Valley boys and girls basketball teams split games at home over the weekend.

Both teams won decisive victories over Santee on Friday night, but fell to CWC on Saturday.

The Lady Falcons defeated Santee by 30 points, 57-27. 

Alyssa Rood led all scorers in the Santee game with 21 points, followed by Shelby Cakebread and Brianna Werner with 8 each. Click here for complete game stats.

Unbeaten CWC rolled to a 71-13 win over EV the following night.

The Falcon boys team cruised to a 60-48 victory over Santee, picking up their first win of the season.

On Saturday, the Renegades rode away with a 55-36 win over the Falcons. Tyler Rautenberg led EV with 13 points, followed by Kendall Albin with 7 points. Click here for game stats.
