EV Girls Wrap Up Regular Season; Boys Fall To St. Edward

The Elkhorn Valley Basketball teams both dropped games over the weekend. 

The Lady Falcons travelled to Humphrey on Friday night to take on the Flyers. The team fell in a tough game by a final score of 43-63. This wraps up the regular season (11-11) for the Lady Falcons as they will compete in subdistricts on Tuesday night against Boyd County.

Hannah Ollendick led scoring for Elkhorn Valley with 12 points.  Other scorers included Brianna Werner, 8, Amber Miller, 7, Ranee Keehn, 5, Alyssa Rood, 4, Shelby Cakebread, 3, Sierra Rystrom, 3, and Liz Osborn 1.

On Saturday the Elkhorn Valley boys dropped their home game against the Beavers after trailing by 22 points at the half. The Beavers took the game 53-29. The Falcons have one more game of regular season play on Friday against Osmond.

Scoring for the Falcons was led by Tucker Hecht with 15 points, other scorers incldue Brayden Effle, 5, Emilio Sierra, 3, Kalen Dittrich, 2, Koby Smith, 2, and Isaiah Greenhalgh, 2.
