Elkhorn Valley Volleyball Team Sweeps Home Triangular

Tuesday night was a good night for volleyball for Elkhorn Valley. The Lady Falcons swept the home triangular, winning both of their games in two sets.

The team took down Elba in the first set with a score of 25-16 and later 25-13 in the second.

St. Edward was also no match for the Falcons. The game was won with scores of 25-14 and 25-12.

"The Lady Falcons game plan was to create their own energy and keep the tempo quick in their matches," said coach Emily Vaughn.

Although she felt the team's serving was good, the coach said there was room for improvement.

"Our serving allowed us 12 or more aces in each match, but we are still giving up way too many points on serving errors, which is something we can work on, and improve as the season goes on," Vaughn said. 

This improves the Falcons' season record to 5-1. They will be back in action Thursday in a road game with North Central.
