Elkhorn Valley To Host Young Americans, October 12-14

​Turn up the music! The Young Americans are coming to Tilden!

​Students in grades 3-12 from across the area are invited to attend the workshop, Oct. 12-14. They will learn a fun, high-energy show in less than 3 days!

The Young Americans will be performing alongside the participants, but the students will be the ones in front singing, dancing, and performing the variety show and solos they’ve learned. In addition, the students will take classes in the areas of voice, dance, songwriting, and performance (acting and improv). Throughout the entire three days, the Young Americans will focus on the students as individuals. Their goal is to encourage every student to become more confident in who they are and what they’d like to become. Music is the tool used to reach a common ground between age groups, cultures, and peers.
