Colon Cancer Awareness Walk Set For Saturday In Tilden

Elkhorn Valley students are inviting the public to join them on Saturday, March 26 from 8 am until 4 pm as they walk to help raise awareness for colon cancer. The public is welcome to walk as long as they want with the kids.

There is an entry fee of $25 for anyone who wants to walk with students.  This entry fee also includes a colon cancer t-shirt and a pinwheel. Additional pinwheels may be purchased for $2 to honor more than one person on their walk. 

Shirts will also be sold on Saturday at the football field for $12.

A portion of the proceeds from the weekend walk will go toward the Carson Cancer Center in Norfolk to help the people in Northeast Nebraska.  Another portion will go toward helping seven Elkhorn Valley students fund their upcoming trip to Spain.
