2017-18 season preview: The 2017-18 season will be a welcomed new year for a Neligh-Oakdale squad that is looking to establish an identity.

After losing a gifted senior class from last season, Coach JJ Wagner hopes that an equally gifted freshman class can step in to fill the holes on a roster that leaves few with experience.

Of those with live action experience, Bailey Frey is the leader of the pack. The athletic guard, along with fellow seniors Rachel Higgins, Jaclynn Hixson and Megan McWhorter, will be asked to guide the young team. Juniors Haley Kerkman and Kenzi Tschirren will hope to fill in as well as a leaders.
