2017-18 season preview: Elkhorn Valley may be setting up for the school’s first run at the girls state basketball tournament in five years if everything goes as planned for coach Brendan Dittmer and crew.

The Falcons return an incredible amount of production, led by Hannah Ollendick and Amber Miller, who each averaged double-digit scoring last year.  Sierra Rystrom, Olivia Nall and Brianna Werner all saw significant time last year as well, giving EV a great first line of attack.

Perhaps the only thing standing in the way is depth. The team will need some girls to step up off the bench to ensure a spot in Lincoln come March.
