Thiele Takes Third At Neligh-Oakdale Invitational

Clay Thiele led the way for the Cyclones at a tough Neligh-Oakdale Invitational on Saturday.

He finished third, with just one stumble preventing him from reaching the first place match. His only loss came at the hands of Crofton/Bloomfield's Ethan Poppe, who went on to finish first. Besides that match, Thiele pinned all three of his remaining opponents on his way to the bronze.

Tommie Peed finished fourth for Clearwater-Orchard. He went 2-2 on the day, taking home wins over Elkhorn Valley's Xavier Antuna and Franklin's Nick Crouse.
