Neligh-Oakdale Coaches To Offer WARHOOPS Clinic

Neligh-Oakdale's boys basketball team has seen a lot of success in recent years, and the coaching staff wants to pass that success on to the younger players.

The Neligh-Oakdale boys basketball team will be hosting WARHOOPS (Warrior Hoops) on Saturdays from 10 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. starting in December. The program will run all the way through March. 

WARHOOPS is available to all current 3rd through 8th graders attending Neligh-Oakdale. The cost is 5 dollars for each time you attend and there is no minimum or maximum requirement for attendance. You can attend just once or every Saturday. The instruction will be provided by the Neligh-Oakdale Boy’s Basketball Team and coaches Frank Gade, Ethan Larson and Tanner Knutson.

"We just want to expose the kids to basketball more than what they are being currently offered and in some cases earlier then they currently are," said Gade. "It also helps our high school kids understand the impact that they can have on others as well as improving their leadership skills."

Specific dates include the following:
December - 2nd, 16th
January - 6th, 13th, 27th
February - 3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th
March - 3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th, 31st
