Macke's Big Night Leads Cyclones To Victory

One would be hard pressed to find someone that had a more complete game Friday night than Clearwater-Orchard's Kinzly Macke. 

Macke recorded her second double-double of the season, scoring 16 points and pulling in 13 total rebounds, including five offensively. She also dished out four assists and came away with four steals. All while only giving up one turnover and not committing a single foul.

That fantastic stat line was vital in the Cyclones' tight 43-41 win over Osmond Friday night. Clearwater-Orchard trailed for much of the game, entering the final quarter of play down 31-27. However, a big 16-10 quarter gave them the win on the night. 

While Macke's fantastic night certainly stole the show, Kylie Thiele and Brooklynn Chipps had solid games as well, posting nine and seven points, respectively. 

The boys weren't able to duplicate the success of their classmates as they struggled to keep up with the hot-shooting Tigers. O-C shot just 26 percent from the floor in a 69-30 loss. 

Liam Odell was the only Cyclone in double figures, scoring 10 points on 4-of-12 shooting. Jacob Long did his work down low, pulling in eight total rebounds.
