Lady Wolfpack Split Tri-Match At Humphrey

For the third-straight tri-match, the Elgin Public/Pope John volleyball had to settle for a split.

The Lady Wolfpack defeated St. Mary's in two sets, 25-14 and 25-22.

Kayce Kallhoff and Harlie Bode each tallied seven kills in the win. Haley Zegers added five kills, Kaylee Martinsen collected four kills, Allyson Wemhoff tallied 15 digs and 17 assists, Grace Rittscher had three aces and Anna Heilhecker recorded 26 digs.

In its other match, EPPJ fell to St. Francis in three sets, 25-18, 17-25 and 25-15.

Martinsen had a strong game for the Lady Wofpack, accounting for 13 kills. Zegers pitched in 10 kills and three blocks, Rittscher contributed three aces and 10 digs, Heilhecker had 20 digs and Wemhoff tallied 31 assists,

Elgin Public/Pope John (11-9) travels to Clearwater for the OC quad match with Wausa and Chambers/Wheeler Central Thursday starting at 5 p.m.
