Henn Leads Wolfpack To Two Wins At Home Triangular

Another night, two more wins for Elgin Public/Pope John.

The Wolfpack hosted St. Mary's and St. Francis in a home triangular on Tuesday, coming away with two big wins, thanks in large part to senior Grace Henn.

Against the Cardinals, EPPJ got the win 25-8, 25-17.

Henn finished the match with a game-high five kills on her seven attempts. She also added one ace. As a matter of fact, the whole team had a great night serving as they finished with 12 aces. Allyson Wemhoff and Calli Krebs recorded four of those aces, each. Kaylee Martinsen, Heather Bauer and Nicki Payne each added one more. 

Against the Flyers, it was another straight-set victory for the Wolfpack, 25-21, 25-20.

Henn again led the way with seven kills, finishing with 12 total on the night to lead EPPJ. Paige Meis put down seven kills as well and Lydia Behnk recorded six more.
