Falcons Come Away As Overall Victors At Triangular

Elkhorn Valley, Clearwater-Orchard and Osmond all went head-to-head Thursday night as part of the Elkhorn Valley Triangular in Tilden.

Elkhorn Valley came away as the victor in the team standings, taking down Clearwater-Orchard 45-18 and Osmond 48-9. Against Clearwater-Orchard, Chay Faulkner, Brock Schaecher, Shawn Klinetobe, Dillon Stewart, Prestin Vondra and Josh McFarland all came away with victories. Against Osmond, Vondra and Faulkner were the only two with matches, both falling.

For Clearwater-Orchard, Zach King and Tommie Peed came away with wins against Elkhorn Valley. The Cyclones also topped the Tigers, 42-12. However, only Derek Maxwell and Seth Lampert had matches, with both boys falling.

During the breaks, young wrestlers from Neligh-Oakdale and Elkhorn Valley took the mat.
