In their final tune-up before subdistrict play begins on Monday, the Elkhorn Valley girls ended the season on a high note.

The Falcons took down Humphrey St. Francis in a Friday night showdown, beating the Flyers 66-50. EV took control of the game in the second quarter, entering halftime with a 30-25 lead. The Flyers battled, but a 22-point fourth quarter sealed the game for Elkhorn Valley.

Three Falcons finished in double figures on the night, led by Amber Miller's 15. Hannah Ollendick added 14 points and Alyssa Rood dropped in 13. Olivia Nall finished just behind them at nine points and Shelby Cakebread added seven.

One of the biggest areas of success for the Falcons was in their passing. As a team, they finished with 18 assists. Miller, Ollendick and Brianna Werner all finished with four assists on the night.
