EV Girls And Boys Both Fall At Hands Of Central Valley

A road trip to Greeley didn't turn out to be a fortuitous one for the Falcons, with both Elkhorn Valley squads falling to Central Valley.

The girls started off the night on the right track, jumping out to a 28-26 lead at halftime. Unfortunately, they came out flat in the third quarter while the Cougars were able to jump out of the gates to complete the comeback, taking down the Falcons 56-48.

Hannah Ollendick and Brianna Werner led the Falcon attack. Werner dropped in a team-high 14 points while Ollendick added 13. Sierra Rystrom added eight and Amber Miller finished with six. 

On the boys side, the Falcons were unable to keep up with the hot-shooting Cougars, falling 57-32.

Austin Miller led the way for Elkhorn Valley, dropping in seven points. Koby Smith and Brayden Effle each added six.
