EPPJ Girls Advance In NVC Tourney With Win Over N-O

The EPPJ girls advanced in the NVC Tourney with a 57-26 win over Neligh-Oakdale on Saturday night. 

On Tuesday, the #4 Lady Wolfpack will travel to O'Neill St. Mary's to take on #5 Boyd County at 8 p.m.

In Saturday's game, EPPJ came out in dominating fashion, outscoring the Lady Warriors, 21-3, in the first quarter. They continued to build on that lead, and N-O couldn't overcome the early deficit.

Bailey Frey led Neligh-Oakdale with 8 points, followed by Kinsley Klabenes with 7, Alexis Jensen 6, Kayla Wright 4, and Heather Pellatz 1. Jensen also grabbed 6 rebounds on the night. 

Baylee Wemhoff was once again impressive for the Wolfpack. She dropped in 17 points on 6-of-12 shooting and dished out six assists. Lydia Behnk, Liz Selting and Allyson Wemhoff each added nine points. Behnk also pulled in 10 rebounds and Allyson Wemhoff dished out four assists and took away three steals.
