Elkhorn Valley Wraps Up Season In Subdistricts

The Elkhorn Valley boys fell to the top-seeded Osmond Tigers in the first round of the D1-5 subdistrict game at Battle Creek on Tuesday night.

The Falcons trailed by 9 at the end of the first period, but were able to cut the lead to 7 heading into halftime. Osmond's offense heated up in the second half as the Tigers cruised to a 63-39 win over EV.

Senior Brayden Effle led Elkhorn Valley with 12 points, followed by Braedyn Ollendick with 8, Kalen Dittrich 7, Dalton Smutny 4, Bryson Anderson 3, Julio Sierra and Brandon Evans 2 each and Trevin Hanson 1.
