Cyclones Pull Off Sweep At Boyd County Triangular

The Clearwater-Orchard volleyballers continued their hot streak on Tuesday, this time taking down two opponents at the Boyd County triangular.

One of those opponents was the host school, who the Cyclones topped in straight sets 25-20, 25-17.

Boyd County had no answer for Clearwater-Orchard's JoCee Johnston, who knocked down 12 kills at an impressive 70.6 percent clip. Grace Rittscher had a big day as well, putting down three aces to lead the Cyclones. She was all over the court defensively, bringing up 22 digs as well. 

Their other win of the night was a dominant one, taking down Niobrara/Verdigre 25-16, 25-15.

Johnston had another strong effort, putting down eight kills. However, this time she got plenty of help at the net as Brooklynn Chipps and Avery Cheatum did some work as well, recording five and four kills, respectively. Those three got plenty of help from their setter as Julian Tuttle finished with 21 assists.
