Cyclones Host Wolfpack, Cardinals In Triangular

For the second time in as many weeks, Clearwater-Orchard hosted an early season triangular, this time inviting Elgin Public/Pope John and St. Mary's to town.

In head-to-head matches, the Cyclones and Wolfpack split 2-2. For O-C, Zach King earned a pin fall victory over Cameron Nielsen at 195 pounds and Eli Thiele pinned Jordan Lindgren at 120 pounds. EPPJ got pin fall wins from Logan and Luke Henn, with Logan's coming over James Kester at 126 pounds and Luke's over Joseph Ferris at 132.

Against the Cardinals, Clearwater-Orchard was unable to notch a head-to-head victory in three matches. Andrew Steskal fell to Cole Rosenkrans in the 220 pounds weight class, Eli Macke fell to Tate Shoemaker at 160 and Austin Pokorny fell to Jared Atkeson.

There were no head-to-head matches between the Wolfpack and St. Mary's.
