Cyclones Go 1-1 With Tigers On Tuesday Night

It was a split in Orchard on Tuesday night as the Cyclones hosted Ewing.

The girls fell at the hands of Ewing, 49-25, and the OC boys cruised to a 61-18 win over the Tigers.

In the girls matchup, OC started out strong, trailing by just 3 points after one quarter of play. But, the Lady Tigers turned up their offense and widened an insurmountable margin by the end of the third.

Brooklynn Chipps led the way for OC with 10 points and 6 rebounds, followed by Katie Stearns with 9 points, Julian Tuttle 3, Elly Herley 2, and Taylor Sanne 1.

The OC boys had a huge second quarter, draining 33 points for a 50-16 halftime lead, and went on to win by 43. 

Blake Hoke led the Cyclones with 16 points, followed by Ryan Wilhelm with 14, Jacob Long 12, Gage Clifton 8, Chris Kester 5, and Liam Odell and Gage Switzer with 3 apiece.
