The Warriors put up a fight, but the Creighton Bulldogs picked up two wins on their home court last Friday night.
The Neligh-Oakdale girls lost in a thriller, 34-32, and the boys were downed 62-33.
Starting off the night, the Lady Warriors jumped out to a 6-2 first quarter lead. They continued to hold a narrow lead throughout the next two quarters, but fell behind late in the fourth quarter. Their last second shot failed and Creighton picked up the two-point win.
Paige Furstenau led Neligh-Oakdale with 10 points, followed by Trinity Kurpgeweit with 8; Rachel Higgins with 6; Jaclynn Hixson and Brooke Frey with 3 apiece; and Bailey Frey with 2.

The Warriors were held to just four points in the first quarter, but bounced back in the second quarter to only trail by three at the half. The Bulldogs picked up steam in the second half, outscoring Neligh-Oakdale 44-18, and went on to defeat the visiting Warriors.
Cole Belitz and Julien Hearn topped the scoring charts for the Warriors with 9 apiece, followed by Nate Buck with 8; Hunter Charf 5, and Tucker Knust and Austin Rice with 1 each. Rice was the leading rebounder with 8.

Neligh-Oakdale will take on St. Mary's in O'Neill on Tuesday night before traveling to Bloomfield on Friday night.
