Fort Benning in Georgia was renamed after a former Neligh mayor. We not only covered the announcement, but we flew from Nebraska to Georgia for the ceremony and kept locals as part of the event. They could have watched it live on CNN, but we have them the local touch and access to aspects no one else had.
