Senior Spotlight: Taya Voborny

Get to know Taya Voborny, a senior at Elgin High School. He graduates Saturday, May 13, 2017.

Siblings: Madi, 20

Birth Date: December 22, 1998  

What activities did you participate in while in high school? Speech, one act, volleyball, basketball, track, FCCLA, Spanish club and student council.

What is your favorite memory of high school? Mrs. Klein’s life lessons. They taught us well.

What advice can you offer underclassmen? Don’t be stupid, get your work done early so you have downtime, and enjoy what high school has to offer because you’ll never
be able to relive it. 

​What are your future plans and where do you hope to be in five years? I plan to attend Wayne State College and earn a Bachelors Degree in Computer Information Systems with a concentration of Web-Analysis and Minor in Business Administration. In five years I’m hoping to be back in Elgin to be closer to family.
