Snodgrass To Fight Friday Night At Columbus MMA Event

A Royal fighter will be back in the cage this weekend.

Seth Snodgrass, 26, will compete in the Dynasty Combat Sports 8: Fight Night at Ag Park 2 in Columbus on Friday night. Weigh-ins are Thursday night.

Snodgrass, a 2006 graduate of Neligh-Oakdale High School, will fight Micah Peatrowsky. Doors open at 7 p.m. Fights start at 8 p.m.

Snodgrass takes a 9-6 record in the mixed martial arts (MMA) bout while Peatrowsky, 25, is 1-0.

A two-time state wrestling qualifier in high school, he is the son of Chellie Snodgrass and the late Stacey Snodgrass.

Snodgrass said he started training for this fight in May. He’s been working with Brooks Boyer in Norfolk, who has trained him since he started fighting. He’s also trained in Kansas City with the American Jiu Jitsu team.

“I'm bigger, faster, and stronger then I have ever been at 155 (pounds),” Snodgrass said. “I’ve taken over a year off of fighting and went back to learning a lot. I feel very good, very lean, and hungry for this fight.”
