Three Cyclones Medal At State SkillsUSA Conference

The Nebraska-Unified/Clearwater-Orchard SkillsUSA chapter recently traveled to Omaha to compete at the SkillsUSA Nebraska State Conference. 

Those attending and competing were Hanna Cronk, Cadrien Livingston, Audrey Wilhelm, Vanessa Carpenter, Travis Kerkman, Travis Rudloff, Creston Bertschinger, Kirby Willats, Liam Odell, Andrew Steskal, Grady Bellintier, Sean Krebs, and Antonio Soto.

Competitions included Diesel Equipment Technology, Welding, Crime Scene Investigation, Customer Service, Prepared Speech, Extemporaneous Speech, Related Technical Math, Cabinet Making, Fire Fighting, Technical Team Problem Solving, Cosmetology, Residential Wiring, Job Interview and Quiz Bowl.

Clearwater-Orchard was well represented. Antonio Soto was named state champion in Fire Fighting.  Soto qualified to compete at the SkillsUSA National Conference in Louisville, Kentucky; however, he will be unable to attend due to prior commitments.

Sean Krebs place third at state in Diesel Equipment Technology and Travis Rudloff placed third in the job Interview competition.
