Servicemen and Women Honored at Veterans Day Program

Clearwater-Orchard Public School hosted the 2015 Veteran’s Day Program on the morning of Wednesday, November 11 in the school gym.  

The event began with the presentation of the colors by American Legion Post 136, followed by the Pledge of Allegiance by the kindergarten class. 

Pastor Bruce Phillips was the guest speaker. The program also featured performances by the Junior High Cyclone band.  Mallory Cooper and Tammy Cheatum played “Taps.”  Hanna Cronk, Mallory Cooper, Zach Martin and Jacob Twibell spoke about their experiences at Girls State and Boys State.  

Local veterans were honored by the Nancy Cary Chapter of Daughters of the American Revolution.​
