Orchard Youth Help Glean Potatoes For The Community

On Saturday morning, September 24th nine students representing the Orchard United Methodist Church traveled to O’Neill to help glean potatoes from a field that had recently been picked. 

The mission event was sponsored by the local district of the United Methodist Church, and the potatoes gleaned were brought back to the communities to give away.  They will be dispersed to anyone who would like a 10-15 lb. bag of potatoes, and some of the potatoes will be taken to the county food bank.  These nine students gleaned 700 lbs. of potatoes!...
