Orchard Young Men's Club Hosting A Big Buck Contest

The Orchard Young Men's Club will be hosting a Big Buck Contest, beginning Friday, Nov. 13.

Registration starts at 6 p.m. at Double D's Saloon in Orchard. Calcutta is set to begin at 8:30 p.m. There will be a mountain oyster and fish fry starting at 6 p.m. as well.

You must register in person and the entry fee is $30 per person. Cash prizes will be awarded for first, second and third places in the individual contest. 

The Calcutta will be two person teams, determined by random draw. First through third places will be paid out. 

Contest rules include:
• One entry per person.
• Qualifying deer must be whitetail bucks shot in Nebraska during the firearm season in a free ranging environment.
